Best of Bali

A visit to the island of Bali is filled with endless exciting possibilities for exploration and discovery. One of the first things that comes to mind when Bali is mentioned are of course its outstanding golden beaches. They are lined up all across the coastline, and many are accompanied by delightful restaurants and lively bars.

Snorkelling, kitesurfing, paragliding and wreck diving are all great sea activities, and can be facilitated across Bali’s coast for the more active. Moving inland, however, we soon return to gastronomy! Food is a religion in this part of the world, and tourists will become the most ardent disciples of local cuisine. Chocoholics will find heaven at the Pod Chocolate Factory, and seafood-lovers must visit the sleepy town of Sanur, famed for its restaurants with fresh catches of the day. For something a little different, the town of Ubud has seen an explosion of vegetarian and vegan restaurants in recent years, and cooking classes at Bumbu Bali (one of the most island’s most famous restaurants) will provide fun for the whole family!

As the golden beaches show, Bali is rich with natural beauty. Inland, you can visit the hidden waterfall in Sukawati, explore the hidden cave on Uluwati beach and even climb Mount Batur! Another thing Bali is renowned for is its large number of modern and luxurious villas. And that's where we come in! Here’s a small selection of some of our favourites!

Mulia Estate in Kaba Kaba village is an extraordinary eight-bedroom villa. The wealth of opulence throughout this property attests to the no-expense-spared philosophy of its designers. The three acres of garden are so carefully maintained that the grass is like carpet. The 25-metre swimming pool, two plunge pools and children’s pool provide fun for all the family. The tennis court, croquet lawn and games room will get your competitive juices flowing. Meanwhile, the professional spa is perfect for those seeking total relaxation.
